Change it

from Liminal by Adámas

/

about

Change it: an exploration of the everyday inner struggle. A lullaby for the broken, a song for those who keep going, against the day. A call of awakening, an invitation to transformation through the acceptance of who we are. A shameless procedure, a petition to love one self with no limits, no judgement, as is. To change whatever stands in between of who you were and who you want to be.

lyrics

Against the day
I wake up while sleeping
All my thoughts, how they keep me
In solitude

Messed up rather than blue
Got no way to control this
Though sometimes I may manage to stall it
In the dreams, I hold on to

Yet it is true
And it’s clear
Though the air is filled with fear
It is time
May we win, may we lose

When I’m in this gloom
I'm far away, absent-minded
A castaway, on this island
Deep into the jungle of the mind

Yes
And I feel
Like I’m falling
Need to stop
But still going
All these years
In this catch-22

Brother-
I don’t want absolution
I need to find a solution
What is here
What will be
What is due

(This is what I’m gonna do)

I’m gonna change it-gonna get up and start something new
Change it - gotta to live our lives and always be true
Change it - there’s no shame in trying
Change it - so much beauty underlying
Change it - in the heart lies the one and true center
Change it - got to love yourself
Change it - gotta love yourself a little bit better
And always be true
